"Plug Into Power" Vacation Bible School
July 9-13, 2018
9am-12:30pm
For ages 6-14
We spent an exciting week discovering tools for getting to know Jesus! Many kids joined us for fun songs, crafts, games and yummy snacks. We had a drawing for 2 bicycles on Friday.
Here are some of the things that happened each day:
Storybook Shop
Children interactively learned a memory verse and experienced a Bible story reinforcing the theme for the day.
Tool Man Interviews
We learned about the tools different professionals use for their jobs. The Bible and God's power are the tools we need for our Christian walk. The proper tools are essential for all jobs.
Creator’s Workshop
Children discovered how wild creatures illustrate the truths of the Bible.
Body Shop
Children got some active physical exercise along with reinforcement of the spiritual theme for the day.
Craft Shop
Children unleashed their own artistic creativity. Each craft was a take-home or give-away reminder of the scriptural theme studied that day.
